Our client in Oakland County, MI is the premier industrial contractor of choice for a broad variety of equipment installation, construction, and service projects and is looking for a Rigging Foreman to join their growing team.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely move machinery of all sizes
- Complete rigging projects working with large stamping presses, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, and mezzanines.
- Operate gantry, overhead, and mobile cranes.
- Operate forklift (3 ton - 40 ton)
- Lead crews on both small and large projects
- Communicate with customers, project managers, and estimators regarding job status.
- Adhere to company safety standards and policies.
- Train apprentices and craftsmen on the job
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience installing and removing industrial machinery.
- Experience operating gantries, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes
- Valid driver's license, CDL-A license beneficial but not required.
- Willingness to travel as job site location dictates beneficial but not required.
- Up to 30% local travel
