RESPONSIBILITIES
- The position involves the setup and troubleshooting of CNC machines and all the related secondary production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- This person is also responsible for the quality of the product being produced within a team environment
- Must have the ability to review layout data and read various forms of gages in order to validate the parts are being produced to customer requirements
- All work will be performed with safety in mind for yourself, coworkers and equipment at all times
- To work within guidelines of the company rules and guidelines to comply with MIOSHA
- Tooling and fixture changes will be required
- Ensure the health of production equipment
- Ensure Process Compliance
- Manage change overs
- Will be part of the team that is responsible to meet or exceed production targets
- To improve processes to increase productivity in a controlled setting
- To maintain the equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner
- The ability to read layout data, gages and dedicated measuring equipment is needed
- To have clear and open communications with peers and supervision in an efficient and effective way
- Perform all PM’s to the equipment as assigned
- Documentation must be completed in a timely manner
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime
- Siemen’s controls preferred
- Basic electrical skills
- Basic hydraulics’
- CNC Maintenance, toubleshooting
- The ability to read Siemens operator panels to run equipment and trouble shoot as needed
- Past experience in automotive production environment is beneficial
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime to be available to all shifts
- Able to work to blueprints would be beneficial
- Able to use standard hand and measuring tools
- Able to follow and understand written instruction
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Certificate or minimum 4 years’ experience required
