RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The position involves the setup and troubleshooting of CNC machines and all the related secondary production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • This person is also responsible for the quality of the product being produced within a team environment
  • Must have the ability to review layout data and read various forms of gages in order to validate the parts are being produced to customer requirements
  • All work will be performed with safety in mind for yourself, coworkers and equipment at all times
  • To work within guidelines of the company rules and guidelines to comply with MIOSHA
  • Tooling and fixture changes will be required
  • Ensure the health of production equipment
  • Ensure Process Compliance
  • Manage change overs
  • Will be part of the team that is responsible to meet or exceed production targets
  • To improve processes to increase productivity in a controlled setting
  • To maintain the equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner
  • The ability to read layout data, gages and dedicated measuring equipment is needed
  • To have clear and open communications with peers and supervision in an efficient and effective way
  • Perform all PM’s to the equipment as assigned
  • Documentation must be completed in a timely manner
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Siemen’s controls preferred
  • Basic electrical skills
  • Basic hydraulics’
  • CNC Maintenance, toubleshooting
  • The ability to read Siemens operator panels to run equipment and trouble shoot as needed
  • Past experience in automotive production environment is beneficial
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime to be available to all shifts
  • Able to work to blueprints would be beneficial
  • Able to use standard hand and measuring tools
  • Able to follow and understand written instruction
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Certificate or minimum 4 years’ experience required
